Sunday Lunch

Today, for lunch, it felt like a pasta day.  This is one of my staples that I have at least once a week, either for lunch or dinner, I have even served this when I am having company or when family drops in unexpectedly.  Only five ingredients and voila, a master piece and people will think you slaved for days.


6 slices Bacon, diced
1/2  lbs dry Pasta
1 cup Frozen Peas
grated Parmesan Cheese
Olive Oil

There are no right or wrong amounts, listed above, feeds 2 generously.  You can substitute, bacon for ham, proscuitto, salami is also great, switch out thin spagetti for any shape pasta that you might have on hand.  Romano if you don't have parm.

Cook pasta according to directions, when aldente, drain and pour a little amount of olive oil on pasta.  Cook up the meat to your prefered doneness.  Frozen peas works best.  Assemble your master piece and enjoy.
